AND WHAT IS THIS WHOLE WEBSITE ABOUT???

For twenty-eight years, I worked an average of 50+ hours each week. I was told when I could go to lunch, when I could go to the restroom, what I could wear, how I was supposed to behave, and the public persona I was to present outside of my employment.

When I retired in 2005, just like Scarlett O'Hara in that famous turnip-eating scene in Gone with the Wind , I swore I would never again work 8-5, that I would not work so restrictively or prescriptively.

As of today, I am the sole proprietor of Career Testing Planning and Management Services. I test and advise individuals on their next career--it could be a first career, a change in careers, or a change in lifestyles altogether. I also do presentations to businesses, organizations, and groups. I am also a writer.

Sometimes "living on the edge" financially is not so bad, especially if you are doing the things that you love. I do love what I do and that is....

  • Career testing and guidance
  • Writing
  • Presenting and speaking

I truly desire to help people to find the "lifestyle they love".

I truly desire to help people make their vocation, their vacation.

I truly desire to help people to find their true gifts and talents and share them with the world.

Every living, breathing soul has natural gifts and talents that are lying dormant within.

People are going to work everyday, in misery and in dread, watching the minutes and seconds on the clock, waiting to leave because they are in the wrong career, they "settled" for security, or because they just didn't reach that self-awareness that is required to find their "niche".

Every human being was designed to be DIFFERENT.

Every human being was designed to be GREAT.

If you are not celebrating your very real uniqueness, every single day and helping others by way of your vocational gifts and talents, then ask yourself these questions:

  • Why are you here??
  • What is your contribution to the world?
  • What are you really working for?

Life is short, darlings.....

what are you waiting for?
